‘SHE’ ,  ‘We’ and ‘They’

‘She’  died. I will not call her with any other symbolic name of ‘Damini’ ‘Nirbhaya’ or ‘Amanat’ because for me, ‘She’ is so precious and delicate and pristine that I do not want to give her some name that suggest any religion. ‘She’ represents her entire sisterhood,the half world of this planet and  her brethren.

‘She’ was full of life, even when she was trampled, crushed and treaded brutally, she willed to live. Dear ‘She’, you have ignited a torch in the hearts of ‘We’, the people, galvanized them for action and  made the pepsi versioned youngistan to be the real disciplined youth, who fight for his rights with responsibilities of a true citizen befitting the real 'Gandhian' way, who can opt for violence but do not do so because he is fighting for a victim of a type  of violence, who is not afraid of sec 66 a or section 144, still respect and places his faith in  the law and judiciary and only demands to strengthen the hands of Judiciary. Whose will-power cannot be ever broken with water cannon or tear gas or lathis, who grieves the demise of a constable, and before that tried to revive him when he fall on ground. Dear ‘She’, you also  taught the electronic media, the important lesson of respecting a common men and not to mouth water on sensationalizing  the news for TRP. You have become immortal.

One Indian woman died in foreign land due to complications in pregnancy, immediately the laws were changed, another Indian woman died in homeland after battling for 13 days for life when abused barbarically that led to multi organ failure, our politicos are busy grinding their own axes, bravo.

They are not part of us, I will prefer to call them ‘they’. ‘They’ cannot bring special parliament session, why to work extra time, ‘They’ claimed to have daughters,even telling their numbers ( who never leave without that X, Y or Z security), as if ‘We’ are involved in population census, then ‘They’ call ‘We- the common man’ the maosit, wondering if the new definition of maosit is  – it’s the person who also happens to be that voter who send ‘Them’ to these seats for legislation, but later on dares to question ‘Them’. ‘Their’ kith and kin can call anything to ‘She’, blaming her and asking her to surrender rather than fighting, calling her demonstrating brethren with cheap tart names, ‘They’ are like the feudal lords and royals who refuses to come out of their palaces and mansions to be amongst ‘We- the people’ after election, but definitely do not forget to dine and post the pics that ‘They’ have eaten with a so called particular caste, even highlighting poor fellow’s caste to whole nation prior to elections. But not now  when all ‘We’ wanted was empathy, few answers and action, a diktat to punish those beast. ‘They’ didn’t say a word as if those beast or likes of , were from their clan. And why not, after all we have so many voyeuristic ‘They’ watching x rated stuff in assemblies. Amazed to see that if ‘They’ want a parallel job, ‘They’ all are born actors. Kudos, ‘They’ should try their hands in that, ‘They’ will easily end our draught for Oscars.

All are hopes are now pinned on Judiciary. We have seen the first two pillars of ‘Democracy’ crumbling, we have seen administration and legislation carrying their duties ‘effectively’, now please judiciary, come out for ‘We’ and ‘She’.Can we have tougher and speedier judgement. Can these beasts be kept behind the bars with increased tenure rather than just 7 years. Its less even when ‘She’ is just molested, what about when she is mutilated as well. We have 43.22 Lacs of cases pending in High Courts and 65 K+ cases queued up in Apex Court. Even the so called assured ‘Fast Track Court’ are now snailed with all the piled up cases.

These data are just those where ‘She’ came out to tell what happened to her. There are incidences when ‘She’ is molested by her very own near blood relatives sometimes even juvenile. Please make strong amendments in Juvenile Act that these criminals do not get escape from judicial claws on the basis of birth certificate. ‘She’ was abused by a 16 year old boy as well, one who cant  claim to be ignorant child because at such tender age, he is doing ghastly and heinous acts. He cannot be a juvenile.

 And then we have long list of blame game. I belong to the world of education by profession and recently, in an article read that educators should take responsibility for such anti-social elements. I refuse to be blamed for these beasts. Dronacharya taught both Kauravas and Pandavas under one roof, he is not responsible for the modus operandi of kauravas. The real cause lies that Dhritrashtra was blind, and Gandhari blindfolded herself and both couldn’t see what their blue eyed son was doing. Stop this blame game for heaven sake.

But yes I take responsibility for the weaker ‘She’, and ask all the male counterpart creations that don’t send your daughter to any fancy dance or art and craft class, don’t teach her how to move on tunes, but first how to break those bones that dared to make a move on her.
